Enjoy Breakfast with Santa at the Winsted YMCA on Saturday, Dec 12 from 9-11am.  There will be a pancake breakfast, a cookie decorating table and crafts.

Tickets are $8 per person. Everyone must purchase a ticket.

Join community leaders and caring citizens as we gather together for the 14th Annual Freezin’ for a Reason Sleep Out and Fundraiser on Friday, Dec 11 at 6pm!

Spend a night on the Winsted Green, bringing awareness to the persistent issue of homelessness in our community and supporting the work of the Winsted Y Homeless Shelter.  Pitch a tent, a cardboard box or sleep under the stars as you experience what it’s like to be homeless for a winter’s night. There is no registration fee, however participants/teams are asked to raise funds for the cause and get sponsorships for their night in the cold. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to support the work of Winchester Emergency Shelter.

Have you ever wondered if the Winsted YMCA, which was built in 1887, is haunted?!  Here is your chance to be guided through the hallways and meet our ghosts and goblins! You can also paint pumpkins, do crafts and play Halloween inspired games! Costumes are strongly encouraged.

Friday, Oct 23 from 5-8pm

Ages 5-14 (younger children are not permitted)

Children are required to have a ticket but parents will still be permitted and are required to stay with their child(ren) for the event if the child(ren) is under 13.

Enjoy a wonderful 5K run through the beautiful property that is also home to one of the best brewery’s around – Norbrook Farm! The run has a little of everything, taking runners along the pristine trails of the property, into the fields, and, yes, you guessed it, finishing at the brewery itself. It’s a beautiful way to spend a fall morning.

All participants over 21 will receive a complimentary drink ticket to enjoy a refreshing beverage from the brewery!

Prizes will be awarded to overall winners and age categories winners after the event. The Norbrook Farm 5K Trail Run is the final race in Northwest CT YMCA’s Grand Prix Race Series. All money raised during the series goes to support financial assistance so that everyone has a chance to learn, grow and thrive at the Y!

All adult registrants will receive an official event T-Shirt if registered by 11:59pm on 10/7.

Registration will be available the day of at the event beginning at 8:30am.

Join us for our 2nd Annual Pies for Purpose charity fundraiser; a fresh take on our wildly popular Pizza Slice Wars event! Price of admission get’s you one free beverage from Bad Dog Brewery’s menu of delicious craft beers (or soft drinks for those under 21) and slices of pizza from the best restaurants in the Torrington area. Raffles and live music are sure to make this a festive night for all. Have your fill of food and fun while supporting the charitable activities of the Y!

The Winchester Youth Service Bureau will be hosting their 22nd Annual Fall Fundraiser Halloween Bash on Friday, October 23, 2026. The event will take place at Crystal Peak in Winchester from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

The evening will feature dinner, dancing, a cash bar, and a silent auction. The WYSB welcomes and encourages members of our community to dress up in costume for this event!

The WYSB serves the towns of Winchester, Barkhamsted, New Hartford, Colebrook, Norfolk, and Hartland with one focused mission: to help at-risk youth and their families. Join us for a wonderful evening and assist in our efforts of raising money to support the youth and families in our service areas.
